The EPP Group's Working Group on Roma inclusion held its first meeting today under the chairmanship of Lívia Járóka MEP. The members adopted the working agenda of the Working Group and agreed to present specific policy recommendations for the European Parliament regarding the European Roma Strategy.
The EPP Group decided to launch its working group at the beginning of September. Its objective is to present proposals based on the experiences of different Member States for the upcoming report by Lívia Járóka MEP on the EU Strategy on Roma inclusion. The Working Group also aims to provide a package of policy recommendations for the EU institutions and Member State governments regarding the contents of the strategy.
